A little about me.

I’m a stay-at-home mom and Army wife. My mom taught me how to knit when my first daughter was born over 18 years ago. Since then, I’ve learned new knitting skills and crocheting.

Yarn crafts aren’t my only interest. Any craft makes me happy!

In the past 20 years, my family and I have lived in multiple states and countries. Through all the moves, the one thing I always kept close at hand (not in a moving box) was some knitting needles.

The mission of Purl Joy Patterns is to create and share easy knitting patterns that are great for beginner knitters. I don’t use expensive yarn and don’t expect my readers to either.
