Easy Dishcloth Knitting Pattern: Aspen Dishcloth
This easy dishcloth knitting pattern has diagonal strips and a border. It’s an excellent pattern for beginners and knits up quickly.
Knitted dishcloths are a great alternative to store-bought dishcloths. They are durable, not to mention unique.
One thing I love about knitting dishcloths is that there are so many color and stitch options. My kitchen drawer contains colorful dishcloths, each with a different stitch combination. You can knit these for yourself, and they make great gifts!

Cotton yarn is the best for knitted dishcloths. My favorite yarn to use is Sugar and Cream. You can buy complimentary colors and create a set or have each dishcloth in your collection be a different color and/or pattern. It’s entirely up to you! Dishcloths are my favorite thing to knit! I have quite a collection of dishcloths in my kitchen, all different colors and patterns. If you’re interested in dishcloth knitting patterns, you can see them here.
