This easy scarf knitting pattern uses only knit and purl stitches, so even beginner knitters will be comfortable with the pattern.
Scarfs are a quick knitting project that keeps you warm and cozy in the cold months. Having lived all over the country, I’ve experienced some cold winters! Needless to say, I have quite a collection of scarves.
Knitting is a calming activity for me. I can focus my thoughts and relax while knitting, which comforts me. My mom taught me to knit shortly after I had my first child. Since then, I’ve also learned to crochet. Dishcloths are my favorite thing to knit! I have quite a collection of dishcloths in my kitchen, all different colors and patterns. If you’re interested in dishcloth knitting patterns, you can see them here.

The Marigold Scarf adds a pop of color to dreary winter weather. If you’re not a fan of the fringe on the ends, you can leave it off.

For this pattern, I used worsted-weight yarn. The yarn I chose is Red Hart in the color Golden Yellow. You can use any worsted-weight yarn for this scarf and even mix up the colors.
